這是2003年的規則,今年可能又更嚴格了。

因為可能要到美國探親的緣故,於是最近﹙7月7日﹚到美國在台協會辦簽證。﹙非移民觀光類﹚

也許您會訥悶…「這有啥好說的?」

不為別的,各位老爺夫人啊,僅是提供個經驗給您…誰能料到自己不會到美國去呢?

 

開宗明義的說:「任何赴美的行為,皆視為具有非法移民的意圖。」

再加上最近恐怖事件頻傳,弄得草木皆兵——

所以就得乖乖的親自和移民官面談;以判別你是否心懷不軌。

因此必須請假﹙假日不面談﹚飛到台北、必須坐捷運木柵線到大安站,出了捷運站往左直走十多分。

走這段路並不無聊,因為會有很多旅遊相關商店可以逛。

值得注意的是,美國在台協會﹙AIT﹚的建築並沒有想像高大雄偉;

也沒有醒目的門牌,所以我們走過頭了還不自知。

 

繁瑣的手續從打0204的預約面談電話開始,每分鐘要8元,每通電話可以預約四個人,

記得先抄好同行者身分證字號…整個過程約需5分鐘。它會給你一個預約編號,

例如:07070055→七月七日第55號。

請注意,預約號碼並不是像掛號具有面談先後性,只是用來控制一天工作量的流水號碼,

早到早辦是絕對的。

 

接下來就更好玩了——填寫英文表格DS-156、157、158,這些表格可從AIT網站下載,並有中文說明。

這三張表我都填了,還要把許多住址英譯http://www.post.gov.tw/post/internet/f_searchzone/index.jsp?ID=190103  、人名英譯;

貼上5*5公分特殊規格的「美簽用照片」。→不可貼普通2吋照片!

﹙但是我用數位相機拍,再改變大小解析度後,用彩色印表機印出來…不然一個人又要花3百多元。﹚

 

實際上女性只要填寫表156﹙申請表格﹚,16~46歲的男性需加填表157,

短期流滯﹙夏令營、遊學…﹚才需再加填表158﹙工作履歷表﹚。

還要事先劃撥簽證手續費3600元,到戶名特長的「美國銀行代收美國在台協會簽證手續費專戶」

——而且不管你有沒有成功取得美簽,這筆錢是不退還的!

 

我們頂著7點半的大太陽,看到門口牌著一長串人蛇,排了約30分,

依序量耳溫到室內,寄物﹙手機、電腦、隨身聽等電子產品不准攜入﹚、

行李過X光、人過金屬探測器…才得以正式進入有防彈門的等候大廳。

繼續排隊,先由兩位文件檢視員檢查相片、劃撥單、護照、英文表格後,

持續排隊,廣播會說「有護照的接下來兩位,請到13號櫃檯」。

這個步驟是到13~16號櫃檯繳交護照和表格,遞交給台灣人擔任的櫃檯。

繳完後一旁稍待,等待廣播唱名「XXX…請到12號櫃檯」

這才是正式和外籍的移民官面談。

 

我一直以為面談是在一個房間內,還會談很久﹙這是網站說明給我的印象﹚。

但是實際的面談,是隔著玻璃站著和移民官用麥克風說話。﹙所以下半身的穿著就不用太講究了…﹚

如果是留學的,移民官會用英文;觀光的就直接用中文問答。﹙這是我的觀察﹚

內容不外乎「赴美目的」「到美國哪裡」「有親戚嗎」「去多久」…這類的問題,比想像中要簡單;

面談只花了2分不到!而且準備的在職證明、扣繳憑單、建物所有權狀、戶籍謄本﹙證明不會逾期滯美不歸﹚,

連用都用不到。

 

最後步驟是到5號窗口辦理「護照發還」,申請表在大廳內有。

簽證、護照將透過快遞於3到6個工作天後送到家裡,貨到收款150元,

同一信封裡可以裝4本護照。

 

辦完後領回手機已是10點多,外面太陽更大,人蛇更長;曲了兩個彎了。

這篇文章讀起來不好玩…請見諒。就當經驗留起來而已。

1.total:54900+12480+2000=69380 

是否有誤?應該是59400+12480+2000=73880

2.電話中問到長榮綠卡打95折…那請問價錢為何?

Look at  the stupid e-ticket, and stupid me, who trust E-commerce very much!!

I search hundred of websites from Taiwan  in order to get a good tour,

I chose a most expensive tour, but what should I get ?

Where is 12er Van? It's a 40er bus! 

Where is my stupid lunch? We were  hungry squirrel !

I got a message from the hotel's phone at September 13 night,

to the effect that is told me the tour would be canceled, the tour would be changed in September 14.

I don't know what reason is, because my poor English can't understand what it said,

but I have booked this stupid tour before two weeks ago,

without earthquake, hurricane or other stupid reasons....Why you made this change ?!

In  the September 14 morning, I  call a number that you  told me,

you said lots of  reason that I can't understand,

and we got the tour at last, but it's different from what you give me in the website say!

And when I ask somebody in the bus,

"How much you paid for this tour?" Guess it, " $ 110"!

Ha Ha! I spend lots of time and money, and what did I got?   Pay more 80 dollars !

This is my first time to visit your great U.S.A,a country that gave us trust and honest.

But what did I got?!  --Rue,angry,quarrel with my family!!

 

Please give me a reason and solve way  that I can take.

Mary,

Unfortunately, we had a sick driver on this day. We called all of the guests the day before to offer them an alternative (bus) tour or to do our tour the day after.  I don't think the customer fully understood the options. He should be refunded the difference of $40/person.

  其四、遊樂園的購票

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

線上刷卡買的門票明細,還要外加美金20元的快遞費用。網站會根據到園日期與顧客的距離,決定宅配的價格。所以想選便宜點的運費…甭想!


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

收到了遠渡重洋的門票了!不過有點失望…雖然顧慮到環保問題,是用紙做的;但一張連運費折合台幣要3700元的入門票,質感和設計可否好點?至少來個滿堂的卡通人物吧?!﹙上頭是正面圖案,下頭是背面的磁條﹚


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

環球影城的門票,也是在台灣線上付款。不過更妙的是自己印出來!﹙A4大,每張可省美金5元﹚

到了影城時,直接拿這張紙給門口的服務人員就可以了。
